Finally met long time internet buddy Chris Gray on Saturday night on my leaving get together. Great chap! Had a blast.
Chris' work, especially latest work, is absolutely incredible. What I love about the new work is the attention to detail and his ability to bring old influences and styles into the future. There is such a modern feel to the work but it rather than feeling dated it feels futuristic.
Chris runs TOY, an illustration label, featuring some of the best illustrators out there, from the likes of Jon Boam (a previous post) to Jean Jullien.
February 26th will see their first group show in Berlin. Wish I could make it as it is surely to be incredible.
